IBO Worlds Exact Location

Hello, exactly wherein Anderson, IN. are the Worlds going to be held? Is the shoot going to be held at a club or is it going to be held at the University? Thanks

Does anyone know if there will be any accommodations similar to what is available at Snowshoe ( 3 bedroom condos) or is it going to be just hotel rooms and if so are the hotels going to cut us a break or price gouge us like they normally do ?? I hope I am wrong but I can't see any advantages to the move. 95-100 degrees and possibly more expensive !!!!!

RE: IBO Worlds Exact Location

I too would like to know the exact location.

As far as the weather goes, I have lived in IN my entire 36 years. The last time I can remember it getting to 100 degrees was when I was working for a roofer just out of high school in 1988.

Don't think it has reached 95 here this summer. Maybe once?

Last summer we did not have a single 90 degree day, albeit that was unusual.

Can't believe the weather here is all that different than OH, PA, IL, or WV. Can it get hot? Yes. Will it necessarily be the first week of August? C'mon.

bbaumer... don't know what part of IN you live in.. but I live in Greenfield... just east of Indy.. and south of Anderson. I'm excited for the move... since I'm not personally able to hit many out of state much due to family/work. But I rememeber several days this summer in the 90-95 deg range. Esp 1st week of August. Only time will tell.. you know the old saying about Indiana weather.. "if you don't like it... just wait 5 min and it'll change."
