move up rule
If a person wins the indoor world in thebow hunter class, do they have to move up to a higher class level the next year?

RE: move up rule
I don't think so.
I think you have to win 2 events? |
RE: move up rule
Here is what it says in the rule book.
If a shooter wins while competing in the Hunter Class at any two (2) events in the Shooter of the Year Program or wins a National Championship or World Championship title that shooter must advance to a more competitive level the following IBO shoot calendar year. Once this shooter advances to the higher competitive level, he/she must remain at that level for an entire IBO shoot calendar year. Pete |
RE: move up rule
So if the top 20 shooters in the HC class would never win two, they can still stay in the HC class?
Could this stop a few shooters from comming back; knowing they dont have a chance against shooters that are always in the top 20. MBR could be a hunters class if the top 20 shooters would be forced to move up to MBR. The HC is not a novice class? In the ASA they have a class fordifferent skill level; Novice , Hunter, Unlimited Pins. Open C, B and A for scope shooters. I am not bashing the IBO! I love the IBO and glad they are here to stay!! |
RE: move up rule
If it states that a person who wins a world championship has to move up, then why is it not being inforced? HC Indoor World Championship 2005 winner
