Tennis Elbow Surgery

Has anyone ever had tennis elbow surgery and how long was it till you could go back to regular shooting? I've been fighting the pain since Jan. and have tried everything to get rid of it. Found an arthroscopic elbow surgeon at Hershey Medical Center and have an appointment to see him next week.

RE: Tennis Elbow Surgery

I had it in 1981. In fact I had a combo >>> torn tendons, and epicondolitus. They gave me a 50/50 chance of full recovery, and it came out of it 100%. I was cast for 11 days, and if my memory serves me right it was a couple of months before I had any strength built back up. For therapy I shot a lot of pool to start with, then graduated to splitting wood. I have a heck of a scar on my right elbow, but I can do anything now without having any pain. Good luck to you for a quick recovery.
