ASA checks
 

Has anyone recieved checks from the ASA for the Classic shoot? What's up with their web site?

I don't know but I have tried to get on their website for over 2 weeks now and just can get on the site, but can't get into the forum. Has anyone seen the the 2003 schedule yet? I would like to have it so I can start planning.

Have not received anything or heard anything about this matter. I talked to the asa office during the first week of September and they told me that they were in the process of making checks out for the Classic and that they would be mailed in a couple of weeks, however that time period has lapsed. It is kind of upseting that an organization like the asa is supposed to be, cannot pay their debts. I think that is what makes the IBO so much better in that category, most of the people that win monetary prizes actually get paid right there at the shoot, others realistically no later than one week. Great Job IBO.
Another fact about the asa is that last year checks for most of the people that i know didn't show up until a couple of weeks before the Gainsville, FL shoot the following year. I hope that is not the case this year, I'm really looking forward to that new ride.

Just talked to the ASA office and they said checks were being mailed this week. Also said web site was in the process of being restructured.

Got my check from the classic in the mail today so it looks like the ASA is on the ball this year. Haven't heard a thing about next years schedule yet though.

Hey Brandon, congradulations on winning shooter of the year. Wow, what a great year you had in both the IBO and the ASA. Are you going to shoot Open A next year or is the rumor true that you are going semi-pro? I'll be moving up to Open A but I might miss the first shoot if I need elbow surgery next week. Rich Delaney

Yes, Semi-Pro its not a rumor any more.
ASA website is now running, and a few people are getting their paybacks but not me, yet.
