Lots of them folks like to tear them apart by themselves..that way they know what they are getting.

Still someone will want good weathered wood for paneling in a den or trophy room.

I know of one or two places in Wisconsin that are in the sole business of charging people to take down an old unwanted barn and then they get to keep any lumber that comes out of it. these people make a good buck with that wood !!!

A lot of old barns were built with hardwood . don't burn it. makes great furniture or heck sand some of them and make a rack plaque. i have some racks on old barn wood from my grandfathers barn.

DO NOT BURN THEM!!!!!!!!they will be of use to someone.if I were there I would deffintly take them off your hands.
All the Red Lobsters in Fla. are redoing there restaurants in old barn lumber.it also makes beautiful furniture.wish I had it.

ive made many treestands with barn lumber. I find that I build them with barn lumber when I dont have time to allow new wood to "weather" and become faded and less visable.
