Default U.S. Forces loose one of their own

I just heard on the news this morning that a U.S. serviceman was killed by hostile fire in the fight against terrorism. He was born in Springfield, Missouri. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

7 were killed recently. Yesterday or the day before. Two CH-47 Chinook helicopters were fired upon.

When people play with guns things happen. I'm really surprised there haven't been more. Usually in a war a nation doesn't have the time and luxury of stopping to morn each of the dead. We're really lucky it's not a whole lot worse. I mean they shoot more per week in the Penn hunting season and more per night in downtown Baltimore.

It saddens me to hear of the deaths of our brave souls, over seas. But it also makes me feel proud to know that they are doin there best for us. I am enlisted in the marine corps and i am being shipped out in june. So i would like for you to pray for our boys that are over there and for us who are going.

I believe the total was 8 between the two helicopters. They were fired upon trying to save the first one that went down.As soon as they stepped out of it they were fired upon by at least 200 forces. They also stated that we under estimated how many troups were actually in the area.I saw an interview of the wife and twin brother of the first one who died, and could not believe how well they were taking it.Both said that is what he said he trained for and he was proud to be there. His twin brother said he could think of a better place for his brother to die then where he was, because of how much he believed in what he was doing for america. It just makes you even prouder to be american when you see people who have lost love ones and think about all of us they fought for.
I think when this is all over everyone who lost their lives should have their names on a monument to show that every american was grateful for their service
and that we will never forget them.
