No the vet did recommend Embark which is a mailborder test kit. Cant remember what it cost but we just got the basic version that tells DNA. There are other options which screen for genetic issues but she won't be bread so we just wanted to see what she was. Came back in a few weeks.

She loves to chase a ball and will swim after sticks thrown in the lake for hours on end. She is crate trained and sleeps in it willingly.

Great photos!!! I'd like to know more about my dog Reggie since the SPCA did say he was mainly Pit Bull with Plott Hound and Lab mixed in. He has the energy and biting strength of a Pit, the loyalty and lovability of a Lab, and the strong hunting nose of a Plott Hound.

Nice looking dog. The crossed paws are cool looking.

The guard dogs donít seem to mind the cold temps and snow we are having right now. They arenít big fans of the heat, though. The aussies, even though they are mostly inside dogs, will run around in the snow and ice chasing each other and anything that moves like the weather is perfect.

The dog we got from the shelter is a short-hair pit mix. When we had to move to town, she stayed with my parents out in the country. She just goes out to potty, and spends the rest of her time sleeping in her dog bed in the living room. She does check the windows for intruders every now and then. She makes the most of staying inside when it gets cold out.
