Default Temperature where you are?

I just looked up at my indoor/outdoor digital thermometer and it says 101 degrees, and it is under the roof of my back deck in the shade. I know that is correct because right next to the remote sensor is a standard round clock face Harley Davidson thermometer and it is reading the same. It has been unbearable here for weeks.

Yesterday was in the low 90's with high humidity. Only relief was to sit under the shade of a lakeside willow with my chair in the water and a cold beer in the holder. Today not quite as warm but the humidity is high again.

High 90s every day.

It looks like tomorrow night finally cool down.

The real kicker is that the nighttime temps aren't dropping. It never got below 84 the last two nights here. So those of us without Central air can't even cool the house down at night.

Life in a duty vest has been very.... Sticky... These last few weeks.

I Never wore my body armor when it was hot, we didn't have air conditioning in our patrol vehicles when I was in the field.

91 in the shade. Glad I don't have to wear duty vests anymore. They're great for shootouts but uncomfortable for everything else.

I'm in a two year old Ford explorer. It's a nice vehicle. And the air will freeze you out.

But in this weather it doesn't take long out of the cruiser for me to dripping sweat.

same here high 90's with some day time hits in the 10's
but still been raining some every 40 hours or so
just last efw rains didn;t seem to do anything for heat, just made things more sticky!

today so far has been cooler, and now there calling for some temps in the 50's at night mid week, I really hope so, I am not a fan of hot weather anymore!!
I'll take the cold and snow over temps in the 90's-100's , and its humidity it has!
