Anyone remember this?
I watched him as a child that grew up here. Got married. got a college degree and had children. I was always jealous of him. Now I have nothing but respect for him.

How many know whom I am posting about?

Jonathon was 12 or 13 when he used that name. Now he is grown, with a great family and he is now an attorney, living in Alaska hunting and fishing. The "Blue undies" would be so proud of him!

Just through facebook. A couple of months ago we were PMing about this place and how long we have been here. He is the one that told me his old name when I couldn't remember it. Last week he posted about his family pet recently passed. I don't know who was more devastated, him or his 2 daughters.

Does he have a new handle here on HNI? It would be interesting to hear about things in Alaska.

New? um, he is still using ******* (don't wanna give away the name yet) when he shows up. He is very busy with his family and law practice. He doesn't really post on FB but about once or twice a week. Things like his daughters first fish and how excited she was, One of his daughters telling him to go hunt and bring home some meat because the freezer was getting low. Or about how the grass dies where the shadow of the house is and he keeps replacing it, but next year that section refuses to grow again so he replaced the dead grass with gravel for a patio (pavers wont work up there due to the freezing of the ground).
Oh, some of the hunts he goes on. He could do a TV show.
Some of the fishing? He could do another TV show! He went ice fishing andd posted pix. Well, if anyone knows me....they'd know I asked why they only caught fish but no ice, after all they went ice fishing. Right? ha-ha
How it is a constant sunrise (or sunset) for 2 months out of the year in winter, or how it barely gets dark for an hour for about 2 months in the summer.
I could never live up there. I think I will stay down here in Florida.
