Well according to your profile the last time you posted was in 2011. Why is that?

I prefer tacos, you can make a taco taste a hundred different ways with just a few ingredient changes here and there.

I still remember my first taco. I was about 5 or 6 years old. It was at the Casa Bonita restaurant that used to be in Little Rock Arkansas. The reason I remember it is because I didn't know what a taco was and I picked it up upside down and dumped the whole inside of the taco in my lap.

I'm sure my second taco was much better, but I don't remember that one.

Black beans and rice are the BOMB!!! I like mine sort of soupy...Kinda like Popeyes red beans and rice but with black beans.

Make your Cuban sofrito for black beans
Add some refried black beans and regular black beans (precook if using dried)
Add some chicken or pork stock until its soupy
Add some mostly cooked long grain rice and finish cooking.

The rice will absorb some of the "soupy". Add more if needed.

Awesome with the addition of spicy pork sausage.
