45 states allow drinking alcohol under 21 years of age

This was an eye opener for my family after we learned in Ohio, if you and your kid, who is over 18 but younger than 21 can sit in the bar and drink beer legally with you. At first we didn't believe it, so my daughter googled it and this is what she found. 45 states allow for under 21 to drink legally.

Has been legal in wi as long as I can remember if a parent and child are in a bar parent can purchase a drink and hand it to the child ! this is called parental rights, have never heard of any problems arise from this H H

That's where I first heard it. I didnt knoe other states had something similar. I was told by my neighbor there is a bad spot in the WI law. The law says under 18 and of course the drinking age is now 21. He told me if you're between 18-31 you can't drink with your parents. I don't know if it's true or not.
