Happened Four thirty in the morning here, kind of a disappointment, it looked dirty brown to me and not red.

One odd thing happened, we are on a Goose migration flyway and a way point. They change directions right over the house, they come in from the West and then turn and head South, my guess is they generally follow the river. Been happening that way for forever.

Geese came over early this morning, right when the eclipse was full and did a bunch of circles calling all the time, almost like they were lost. They eventually figured it out and headed off in the normal (right) direction. I think the eclipse screwed them up some.

I had to settle for internet video live-feed.

Were you surprised at the ending?

I took the fam out in the garden and we watched it. We all loved the view, it turned 4 different colors, pretty neat.

After the screen went blank, I switched to a different feed site. I got bored near the very end and clicked off.

The live feeds I saw didn't look that spectacular. Some pictures posted on the net today looked pretty good. I had what seemed like a front row seat for the '82 showing and it was quite impressive.
