Good man at his craft and a shame he couldn't work things out to continue giving people so much enjoyment. May he RIP!

Selfish. Cowardly.

Now his family gets to live with his decision.

I have a tough time getting choked up about strangers or people I've never met, but I have to give the fella credit, he was an extremely successful entertainer. Depression is a horrible thing, I can't judge anyone who decides to end their own life without really knowing what demons & pain he may have been enduring.

This is type of comment (nearly word for word) got the first page locked.

His family probably understand the why, and are better able to deal with the consequences.

WE, on the outside, will never know.

Red face

That is very sad news. He will surely be missed. How could someone so incredibly talented, who had so profited materially from that talent, be so unhappy?

What was it he wanted, that he couldn't have, that made him so miserable as to take his own life. I hope he has that now.

It wasn't the original comment that got the first thread locked, it was the attacks that followed.

I happen to agree with both comments

Is having a heart attack a more manly way to die? really, go eat some more cheese burgers! How about SLS, drowning in you own body fluids, does that make you tough?
Yet people that suffer for years with the anguish of mental illness are cowards?
