100% original condition. According to the document on the front seat, the only one made with these options. Namely 4x4, flare side, heavy duty shocks. Awesome truck.

That is awesome.
My only problem is that I would want to put it to work. I wonder what the mileage is on the Bronco next to it.

I didn't check that. I did ask if it was for sale. The guys I spoke to said anything is for sale but I have to speak with the owner of the place. However, I agree with you, I would put it to work or at least drive it. My daughter was all over it telling me to buy it.

Next time I get there I will check the odometer on both.

I had one just like it black with a 351 Cleveland and 411 rear end; one of the dumbest things I ever did was selling it.

Was that an original factory paint color?

According to one of the sales guy, it's 100% original and the way the owner found it in AZ. Like I said, it was the only one off the line with 4x4, flare side and heavy duty shocks.

Nice truck.

We find all those 89 Broncos around here all the time.

Lol, you already have been out bid. My daughter said she would give her kidney.

Looks like a '72. Flareside wasn't really a term until the 80's/90's. It was stepside back then. The stepsides I believe were only 8' beds. The option was not heavy duty shocks that gave it that high stance. These were called "Highboys" and had different springs and shocks than the standard height trucks.

These were tough butt trucks that had a wide range of engine and trans options.

I had a '76 that had a straight-six, 4-speed w/ granny low, an aftermarket aluminum intake, 4 bbl, header and 36" TSLs.

Ah the good times and memories of the cars and trucks of our younger days.
