Anybody know what this tool is? I have no clue what it is and trying to figure out what it is.

Thinking about posting it up in the blackpowder forum several of the older members seem to hang out on that forum. Surely somebody on this site knows what it is.

It looks like something you would heat up in fire and then perform some sort of function or branding or bonding. Hell, it's a a damn chicken killer. Just whack 'em and they're dead.LOL

It's used for making a leather belt smooth so the grain doesn't show.
