Default grandsons first deer

been trying to get my grandson "fired up" about deer hunting but he had never really shown a lot of intrest and i didn't want to be over-bearing about it, during one of our family gatherings over Christmas my DIL is telling me how Jonathan is "chomping at the bit to go deer hunting" so i asked him if he wanted to go and he was all excited, well its times like this that letting the young bucks pass really pays off, i had hoped he would see a 10 pointer that i had passed on earlier in the year, but this 7pt showed up and my grandson was happy and so am I who knows he may still get a shot at a bigger one, as I'm pretty sure he is ready to go again

Makes me smile to see kids getting into the great outdoors.

On a side note, the young man looks to be the best dressed hunter in Alabama.

Yeah...You just don't see enough cardigans in the deer woods...LOL

Seriously, congrats and thank you for bringing another hunter into the mix.

he is actually wearing read thermals and a t-shirt, he had removed his coveralls in preperation for the haul/draging the deer out
