I have a friend that's a big Michigan fan. He's going to hear about it tomorrow.

Thanks, there were some mistakes that we need to stop making (penalties). We have a pretty decent defense. Illinois could be a surprise, but Iowa will be a real test. We could actually go undefeated this year. It would be fun to rise enough in the polls to get into a really challenging bowl game.

My sisters and I are still faithful to the CSU Rams

Little late on this one, but go Sparty!! I was analyzing the schedule, and almost hated to think of the possibility of going undefeated. Sounded too good to be true, but I think it is a definite possibility. IL surprised me last weekend with the destruction of Penn State, so they are nothing to overlook this weekend. I think IOWA will be the tough spot as well, and if we beat them, it'll be interesting to see where we end up in the polls if OSU, TCU, and Boise all stay perfect as well. MSU hasn't been a marquis team in a long time, but coming from the Big Ten when the SEC teams have losses could certainly work in our favor. HIGHLY doubt a national title game would happen, but Rose Bowl would be nice!

I think the SEC is a stronger conference right now than the Big Ten, but we'll have a better basis for evaluation when we get to the bowl games.

It doesn't look like our CSU Rams will make it to a bowl game this year

Hopefully, one of these days there will be a 8 top team playoff system to determine the season champion. They could use the lesser bowl games in the first 4 games and then the Sugar, Orange, Fiesta and Rose in a rotation for the final 3 games to crown the champion. It is the only college sport that doesn't have a playoff that I know of and the lesser divisions have a football playoff.
