I took this at work last summer. There's an entire mountain ridge behind all that smoke, and the orange glow in the smoke is from 100+ foot flames.



Here's my friend's cabin after the fire. Notice the two cabins next to his that didn't make it.



I find these little guys at work quite a bit. I've really got watch from them when I'm riding through the sagebrush because they won't move until you're on top of them.


This guy was hoping I had some food for him.


A lake I hiked to in the Cloud Peak Wilderness last summer.

Great spot off the Salcha Riverfor the Salmon run. I refuse to tell where it is. You have to boat to it.

Nice.( now i just have to find wherethat spot is)

(Salcha River Alaska, USA located southeast of Fairbanks. It is 125 miles (201 km) long and drains an area of some 2170 square miles )

A lake I frequent. There is a cow moose in the pic too.

A big bear I spoted out of season last summer. 2 weeks before the season re-opened.

This is at the Snake River that runs through our town. It was on monday, my lens was focused on the ducks and geese, so IEI and the kids are a bit blurry.
