I don`t know if GMC has a better warranty or not! Have had several new ones, never had a problem. Maybe I should try a ford, to see what this warranty stuff is all about.

Easy now! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

It never really was part of the rental car program that we would get the loners from, it was the dealers. We would take out either dealers models, or just say we were interested in getting rid of the truck we are having problems with, and wanted to drive a new car overnight to test it out. Our family and business buys up to 5 fords a year through this one guy, so he tends to cut us some slack at times, when he probably wouldn't for others.
It's been a while since we've bought a car through him though, and we are starting to see a cold shoulder.

I never knew I could have such influence on an industry. <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Doesn't your insurance have a rental car program? Some do, but they are only for after wrecks. Others have them for emergency purposes. Wouldn't hurt to call em.
