10 people on 100 acres = arguments and bickering. Good luck.

RE: NJ club accepting members

No problems our first season.Usually had no more than 4 or 5 members at a time. One only hunts turkey. One never even made it up to the property. Nothing to argue or bicker about. If you lay out a good set of rules that are clear and to the point , and if you only take in ethical sportsmen ONLY AFTER MEETING WITH THEM you shouldn't have any problems. Too many clubs are only interested in making money, we don't. Our dues are low enough to cover the cost of the lease and insurance. Anything that is left over goes back into the club. Not into someones pocket. The only possible problems we could possibly have are, not being able to find enough members to cover the cost or someone tresspassing on the property. Too many people running clubs are only seen or heard from to collect money .I'm not like that. I pay my dues hunt every chance I get, visit property and keep in touch with members outside of the hunting season. I've thought of all the stuff I didn't like about clubs I have been in and I don't do any of that stuff. I run it to keep both the members and myself happy and problem free.
