RE: WV Hunters

I live in Harrison County, but do most of my hunting in Braxton. I've been seeing some real nice bucks this year. I have a bachelor group that consists of six bucks living on my property in Harrison, two of them would make Pope&Young. I won't get to bowhunt until near the end of October, because I'll be in Wyoming hunting mule deer and pronghorns when the season opens. I hope the two big bucks don't get chased out of the area before I get back.

I hunt in Nicholas and Fayette Counties and have been seeing plenty of deer. I have not yet seen a jaw-dropper buck, but have seen many bucks none the less.

Good Luck this coming season!

HIGHCOUNTRY, my grandfather was born in Calhoun...and the rest of my family was born in Braxton. I live in Ohio now, but we still have the farm that is next to where my dad was born.

If we get overrun with 12 pt'ers...I'll call. LOL

Hey, you get run over by 8pts, 10pts, or 12pts, give me a call and I'll make the drive to Braxton(I live 5miles off Big Otter I79). I'll come up, and show you how to do some bow hunting.

WV is a good place to hunt big bucks. We have quit a bit of big bucks. But they are hard to hunt here. They're smart, just like I'm sure they are smart everywhere else.

Nice bucks. Not the biggest, but that one has a interesting looking rack. Take him down so we can get a better look at it.

I'm in Roane county. We do have alot of nice bucks this year. On my acreage the same "big boys" that lasted thru last year's season are bigger. In addition, there some smaller 6-8's. Not seeing as much mass or width to them this year though. Have a Safe and Great Season Folks!! Just a couple more weeks.

GA, Great Pics!:)
