Since turkey is just right around the corner I thought it would be cool to see some turkey pics.

This is my best turkey. I shot him in the fall of 1999.
18.5 lbs
1.25 spurs
10 3/8 beard

Step-sons first at 15 ( 17# jake ) had 16 turkeys around one hen three feet away. You should have seen his eyes through the net. Big as pie plates.

heres last years. 19+ lbs, 1-1/2 spurs, 11 inch beard, if i recall. won the local pool with it on the last day. hunted HARD for this smart ol boy, drove me nuts all season!

My '04 gobbler was a Merriams in central Montana. I was out of the truck all of 20 minutes when I had to shoot him in self defense at 1:30 in the afternoon.

I sure had an awesome opening morning last year...me and my dad both had a longbeard on the ground by 6:05. Mine was 19 lbs., 9.5" beard, 7/8" spurs...his was 21.5 lbs, 9.25" beard, 7/8" spurs. Hope to do a repeat on May 1st!

wow seeing all these pics. wants me to go down south so i cant hunt them now.. this is going to be a long month to wait.. nice pics. guys

Tell me about PA Gobbler. I cant wait either! Its 9 more days until I will be leaving for Merriams and Rios. It seems like its taking forever though.

bullmoose, good luck too you on your trips.. next year im going somewhere just havent decided to where yet.. my friend is going to SD next month. he keeps throwing it in my face since ill be working..[:@]
