Since turkey is just right around the corner I thought it would be cool to see some turkey pics.

This is my best turkey. I shot him in the fall of 1999.
18.5 lbs
1.25 spurs
10 3/8 beard

Step-sons first at 15 ( 17# jake ) had 16 turkeys around one hen three feet away. You should have seen his eyes through the net. Big as pie plates.

heres last years. 19+ lbs, 1-1/2 spurs, 11 inch beard, if i recall. won the local pool with it on the last day. hunted HARD for this smart ol boy, drove me nuts all season!

rem 1187 3" #6 winchesters @ 20 yds

My '04 gobbler was a Merriams in central Montana. I was out of the truck all of 20 minutes when I had to shoot him in self defense at 1:30 in the afternoon.

19 1/2 lbs, 1" spurs, 11" beard

I sure had an awesome opening morning last year...me and my dad both had a longbeard on the ground by 6:05. Mine was 19 lbs., 9.5" beard, 7/8" spurs...his was 21.5 lbs, 9.25" beard, 7/8" spurs. Hope to do a repeat on May 1st!

Tell me about PA Gobbler. I cant wait either! Its 9 more days until I will be leaving for Merriams and Rios. It seems like its taking forever though.
