Turkey hunting NY

Anyone know of any good turkey land in NY? I am looking for a place for May 1 to shoot some video footage.

What area of NY are you looking at going to. There is a lot of public land in Cattaraugus County. Go to www.cattco.com
Catt County is usually the #3 as far as the number of turkeys taken pretty much every year. If you need more specifics, I'll try to help. Here is a link to a map on the county.

One other thing, there is also some great trout fishing streams in this county.

Lots of good public land turkey hunting in NY. You can get free maps at the DEC offices.

There is a lot of public land in Cattaraugus County. Pressure from other hunters will not be a problem. If I were to guess I say there is atleast 30,000 acres of public land in this county where you can hunt. I am probably being conservative at that.
