Coyotes in PA

When you shoot one of these bad boys in PA what must you do with it ?

Must you drag it out ?
Do you just let it lay ?
Must you bury it ?

We are seeing more of these pests around our camp and we want to start to get rid of them.

why not skin it and either use the hide or donate it to someone that will. no sense wasting it. i know alot of people, (me included) that would use the hide for trad. archery quivers, bags, etc...

some people tie flies with the fur, many teachers would love a cured hide when schooling the little ones about indians , or to use in arts and craft projects.

shoot enough and you can make a nice coat for the old lady.

even if they are "pests" , i can't see wasting perfectly good resources...

And you wonder why the anti's have so much leverage. It's not a barn fly, it's a furbearing animal. Skin it, stretch it, tan it or sell/donate it. What to do after the shot is just as important as before and during the shot.

I shot a BIG male on the first day of rifle one year. I dragged it to the top of the mountain so the guys could get a look at it. I then threw it between some boulders with the thought of getting the skull the next year. When I returned, there was NO trace of it. Nothing went to waste in those woods. Do you think they eat their own kind?
