Winter in the northeast
It won't be long now boys. Before you know it the grouse will be drummin and we'll be hunting gobblers. The temps will hit the 70's and thunderstorms will roll in.Ah yes the smell and sounds of spring.
The problem is March seems to be hanging onto winter.
I hope this won't be like two years ago when I hunted turkey in the snow.
Us northern boys gotta be ready for anything in april and may.Gotta be alittle cold blooded to live in these parts.

I know cabin fever is starting to set in with me. To make matters worse, I just checked the forcast and it's showing snow just about every day this week. Damn Alberta clipper systems moving through. I just can't wait to get back out on the golf course.

Yea, I`m about ready, the fishing poles in my closet and on my rod rack are trembleing with anticipation for spring. Your right Germain, the worst part of Spring is fighting that sh*#^y wind. But I`ll take it right about now!

Can't wait to get out and hunt those turkeys! Here are some pics off the game cam from last week........
Should be a good year for Turkeys! Can't wait to see some horns sprouting on the deer!
