Its tough, not impossible, but tough to get those "big ones" when there is tons of thick standing crop around. At least we have a chance to get out there early. Thats the important thing. I've had no shot in 4 or 5 trips and its really not that important. I was out there, watching the sun rise or set, listening the booming hoots of owls through the woods, watching and listening to canada geese leave or return to roost. Saw foxes, coons, nearly had a squirrel jump in the stand with me. Its all good. I'll be out again tomorrow.

Lemond, you might have told us so, but thats ok. I can live with it. :)

Any day spent huntin, is better than any day spent workin,,

Lemond, Seasons still early...I've had chances at three real good bucks (all less than 20 yards), passed up more than a two dozen smaller bucks and does, probably watched a hundred deer over the last few weeks....by being able to "told you so", what did you really gain? You may have been right (so far..season still in the early stages!!!), but we who are giving it a go....we really won!!!
