Penn Poll

Interesting post. Here in MN I am interested in how it turns out for PA.

Does this poll take into consideration if you are dealing with good hunters who can spot deer. I consider myself to be an excellnt stand hunter who observes my surroundings and sees deer by looking 360 degrees. How many sit with tree at your back and not scan 360 degrees?

My uncle and dad have a hard time seeing deer right in front of them. I saw two deer run past my uncle and he only saw one.

I am a still hunter never could sit at a tree or stump all day, I was taught at a very early age never to look for the whole deer, look for ear or tail movement, a stump or a limb that looks out of plase. deer will lay or stand until you walk by then sneak away. After 47yrs. I have caught a lot of bucks standing there looking at me and lots of them have went home with me.

They call me the Cameron Co. Pa. DOG

I sit so there is not any viewing possiblities behind me. This narrowa down the field of vision like a funnel. I use my nose to smell deer and the my sixth sense of spirtual connection to mentally know the animal is near. then call it closer with a audible come here

He who looks everywhere sees nothing. If my old eyes can spot hunter movement 200 yds away, you better believe a deer can!
