PA guys, how was your deer season?
 

Without turning it into an AR/HR/Alt dead horse beating. How did everyone do this year?

I zipped in my pursuit of a rack but saw the guy I was after on the last day of late archery. He'll be better next year! Got some does for the freezer and helped both of my boys get a doe each. Not a bad season.

I did pretty good, tagged out by the first saturday of archery season. No complaints here.

I only shot one this year, a buck that lost its horns(late season). But i had my best regular archery season yet , i saw 8 legal bucks and had chances at two of them but screwed up. By the way, 6 of those legal bucks were on Gamelands in Columbia county. So i cant complain, i'm just excited for next year

I only rifle hunted PA this year, but I saw 3 mature bucks in Huntington County, and probably 10 does a day. No shots at the bucks, but someone else got one of them and it is probably 120" 8 point. My friend and I decided not to shoot does till 12pm on the first day and I killed one at 12:15. ;)

I also hunted in Bradford County for a short bit, however only saw does. I already had 3 deer in the freezer at that point between Vermont archery and rifle hunting and PA rifle, so I spent more time visiting family then I did in the woods. I did see about 10-15 does a day there though, and my father saw 2 100"+ 8 points chasing a doe when he was in the barn the day after I left...........[:@] They will be there next year though. It seemed that everyone I know in these two counties did pretty good.

Was the worst year I ever had hunting in Pa. Never saw a legal buck..

Had a good year. Passed on 19 buck saw 103 deer total. Took 2 doe with bow.

I had my best deer season in P.a this year.It was my 3rd year living and hunting in P.a.I killed a nice 12 point and a fat doe.Also saw a couple other shooter bucks and all this occured on game lands in Fayette county.I have to give all the credit for this years success to long hours spent shed hunting the places I hunted.

Had another good yr. I was able to walk the big woods of Cameron County Pa. one more yr. thats enough for me, I didn't get a buck but thats ok I hope to do it agin next year.

I had a good year. Took 2 does in archery and one in gun season. Saw alot of younger buck which gives alot of promise for next year.

i took a doe in archery and a doe in early rifle season. I didnt see many deer last year and only saw 2 bucks all season one in archery and 1 in rifle numbers are deffinately down!

Great year, passed several legal bucks and took a 3.5 year old the last week of archery. He'd scored in the upper 120's but was busted on his right side....

i got an 8 point 18" inside spread. but the doe # in somerset co are way down

i had a great year saw 50+ legal bucks, but not as many does, numbers are definately down but i dont really care i saw less does this year than normal but saw tons more bucks, shot a nice 8 point with 10 inch G2's the 3rd week of the season, cant wait till next year!!

Wow, I have not seen that many bucks in one season in a long time!!
Have any pictures of the 8 pointer I would like to see it, it sounds like a gooden.

I agree with that i live and hunt in Somerset county and i think the whole deer population is down around here everyone hunts and most people are greedy so the deer are really hurting! [:@]
