Bear Swamp in Zone 5 anyone hunt there?
 

I am itching to start bowing. I did some scouting and saw lots of bear droppings. Anyone have success at the Swamp? Thanks

I was scouting for deer and saw bear droppings. I intend to shoot deer not bear.

Zone 5 has its share of bears 8pt. I bowhunted a few times by Jenny Jump a few years back. Some good deer up there.

Can you hunt in Jenny Jump? How about Round Valley?

Yes you can Cat.... For Roundvalley, you need to check in at the ranger station.

I run my coon hounds in Bear swamp. There are a bunch of deer in there. Last week we walked past 2 bucks ( not to mention all the does!!) laying there.
One was a 10, the other a 6.
