DE's Early Teal Season
 

Today was the opener for early Teal. Anyone go? I've never hunted the state blinds for Ducks. I've heard horror stories about the crowds and the lottery system.

I went. Got picked. Got my 2nd choice of blinds I wanted. Saw more mallards/blacks in my decoys and circling than I saw teal. Going goose hunting on Saturday instead of teal. Not trying for the teal again until Wednesday.

Heard a decent amount of shooting this morning in the marshes around the Symrna River? How'd you all do?

Duckmastor - Rumor had it that there was decent shooting at Cedar Swamp, which is normally a ****hole compared to Woodland. We went home empty handed on Thursday but I went resident goose hunting on Saturday and got 1. Trying again for the teal on Wednesday.
