Joe D. you got that right. My buddy is still trying to get some more details. He has a friend that does freelance reports and always seems to be able to get the skinny on deer like this so we'll see.

That deer would come closer to scoring 350 than weighing 350.
While it sure is a whopper, I don't think if a 350-pound, wild whitetail exists in this state. I used to work at a butcher's shop and we never even had a deer (field-dressed) break the 200 pound mark, and we've processed some big ones. We've had tons of 200 pounders come in, but they always managed to shrink down to about 150 by the time we got 'em on the scale, if ya know what I mean. I call it ground-shrinkage.
That's one of those things that I'd have to personally see to believe.
