what a day got to the chair at 5 Am sat down and it broke. Had to tie the one leg bar up with a deer drag rope. Cold and I have to wear sneakers.About 5:30 crashing thru the briars, sticks breaking ,but seen no flashlight and concluded it might be a crippled deer. Seen nothing by 11 am,really stinks this year.then I see orange and here comes Elmer Fudd walking right thru the fence line and briars and there is a log trail just 5 yards along side of the thick fence line. Dont make no sense to walk thru all them briars back to your car when there is a trail. he finally seen me when he was 20 yards away and waved and said wow it is thick in here.these stinkers got me all tore up. quess that was him stumbling thru thre thicket at 5:30 with no flashlight this morning,What a bozo

yeah I kinda had sorta the same thing happen to me on opening day, I have the same tree I have climbed and hunted on opening day for 5 years. Well apparently on FRIDAY the day before opening day a guy on the bordering property went in and BUILT a wooden tree stand 100 yrd from me overlooking the same gutter that I do. I mean I ask this question, WHAT KIND OF IDIOT DECIDES TO BUILD A TREESTAND THE DAY BEFORE HUNTING SEASON!!!!! I sometimes wonder if it woudlnt be better if they did get rid of gun hunting in MD because I have seen more idiots this year out walking around by 7:30, we've seen at least 3 deer stumbling around with blowed off legs, and the whole treestand building thing, has got me feeling this way. I know alot of people will disagree with me, but I know where I hunt most of the gun hunters are just plain dumb. I am starting to slowly hate gun season.

The antis will love these comments! I'm not bashing you, but some of us responsible gun hunters have found dead deer that archers stuck in archery season and didn't recover. So we sometimes have simular feeling about bow hunters. I wouldn't call them dumb, maybe just lacking the skill necessary to humanely kill their deer.
