Default Check out my buddy's 16 - 18 point southern Maryland buck!

He saw this before the season, and it had a 6 inch or so drop tine on its right side near where my buddy's knee is. It broke off this point and parts of a few others. It has a 24 inch inside spread...

Call me insane, but that deer doesn't look older than 2.5, if that...is the deer's body really that small (125# or less), or is your friend and that rack that big?

I only ask because the deer he harvested last year had a body proportionate to his rack [&:]

I think he said it weighed 150 or less, that it looked run down, and had a leg injury. The taxidermist aged it at OVER 5 years, due to excessive tooth wear. I think this deer's rack was at or past its prime and the deer was on the decline. He got another one about 5 years ago that grossed in the 150's and netted 149 B&C that was aged at 2 1/2, but that was from a farm in PG County....

Very nice buck, but very small body. I think 125 dressed might be a stretch. Great rack! He is obviously doing something right!
