Default New York season

I hunt 9M and 9R for me its been very slow, I've talked with a good number of hunters same story. The dec. has done its job they have cleaned out a number of areas, and its starting to show. If you read the buffalo news they tell you about a big number of auto accidents, the majority are with in 10to 15 miles of the city, not in the rural hunting areas. GOOD HUNTING RICH

Yes it's pretty slow. But there are some nice bucks around so don't give up just yet.

I took my niece hunting in 9M monday. We seen 3 does at 7:00am one being a piebald but she didn't get a chance to shoot. At 8:00pm a 7 point came in and she shot it . Her first buck.We hunted 9S in the afternoon and seen 3 does but they weer running and she didn't have a shot. Her father and brother were hunting with us and never seen a deer all day.

Nothing over at our camp. The butcher is only up to 35 deer, and last year at this time he was already over 100.[:@]

We think the reason for there being no deer on our property is because the amount of predators. The other morning, my dad's cousin saw a yote and a fox, and my dad's buddy, shot two coyotes and missed 2 more shots on two other yotes. We are going to get alot more predator done this year up there than anything else.
