Delaware muzzleloader

How has the hunting been in DE? What are the deer doing? Are the bucks showing any pre-rut? I am unable to hunt because I am TDY to McGuire AFB for a 6 week school. :(Would like to have some info to keep me going while I am "out of the game", thanks all!

Darryl one of the guys from work got a nice buck on Mon nite on Rt 9 , near Taylors Bridge, which is East of Smyrna, I think it was an 8 pt and dressed 170 lbs., he said it was a nice deer.....and he was in his buddies stand and using his buddies ml, had to call and rub the buddy about it, he says, I would have kept all that to myself... but he was behind his house, so bust the buddy....

DJ,
Took 3 nice Doe last week, gave 1 away. 1 about 140 lb+-. Passed on a few smaller deer. 1 guy on our farm took a small buck(not good). No sign around here of Bucks running doe yet. I think the nice bucks are stuck in the marsh around here. Gotta catch them very early or late until rut. Then they get stupid!
