we had a horse attacked by a cougar last year............. till they discovered it got tangled in a barbed wire fence, explaining the "claw marks" on it's neck.;).... these stories seem to have a way of growing in infamy, but hey, stranger things have happened

I live in ALLEGANY county.
Have not heard of 2 horses killed.
I know the editor of the wellsville paper well & he is a hard core news person also hard core hunter and he heard nothing & belive me if any horses got killed by a cougar he would run the storey no matter what.

Wev'e have had a number of sitings but when followed up to date nothing.
