NJ Bear Permit update
Bear Permit Application UPDATE: In a 9/10/04 letter from F&W Director Martin McHugh to F&G Council Chairman Ellis, Director McHugh stated that the bear permit applications would not be released until the Game Code has been published in the Register. This would not be until after the September 30th deadline. This is DEP Commissioner Bradley Campbell's way of illegally obstructing the 2004 bear hunt. This is not acceptable and therefore copies of the bear permit application are again available from www.tnusanj.com. TNUSA NJ does not guarantee the validity or legality of this application.

RE: NJ Bear Permit update
UPDATE: The Fish and Game Council voted this afternoon for the Division to accept all applications they receive. I'll post the press release when it comes out tonight.
It is still available at www.tnusanj.com and some unnamed organization is printing them to be distributed to most of the major sports stores.

RE: NJ Bear Permit update
Glad to hear that, I sent in my application about 2 weeks ago.
Also I went up to my spot today to bring in my treestand, and to get the pictures from my cam-tekker. Got a few pics:
1 doe
1 doe with a fawn
no bucks at all
4 different bears: 300lbs, 250lbs, 225lbs. 175lbs.
Not concern that I didnt get no pics of bucks, in the 5 plus years I put the cam out, I've gotten only a few pics of bucks.

Don't start making freezer space just yet, they still have to process the information, schedule education seminars and issue permits. This is just step 1. Keep making calls to Campbell!!!
