Better make a move quick

The season is a mere 3 weeks away and I've just been informed that the land I had permission to hunt last year has just been sold. God am I depressed. Now I dont know what to do. Maybe I oughta think about knocking on some doors. Theres always public land but Im not really big on that. According to a friend there is no chance of getting permission to hunt the same property again from the new owners. This is the 2nd time in 3 years this has happend to me. To top it off I bought a new mathews solocam over the summer and have somewhere around 800 wrapped up in it and now have no place to use it. Why me?

What's wrong with public hunting land? We should all be thankful such land even exists in this day and age.

Nothing at all wrong with hunting public land. In most cases you'll have a good majority of a property to yourself in archery season. I'v hunted public land the last 5 years....exclusively. I've seen some whoppers and arrowed one of them. I've taken plenty of doe and I've seen very few other hunters....2 to be exact. 2 guys in five years! The trick is to be where the deer are and the other hunters aren't....translates into -- THE THICKEST STUFF YOU CAN FIND.

Frankly, I think you have a piss poor attitude and don't deserve to be in the woods when you'd rather not hunt than try something different.[:@]
