Less then a month now
 

I don't know about you guys, but I'm counting the days. I'm looking forward to a good season. Didn't get much hunting in last year due to overtime, but this year I will. I catch myself watching video after video. I've bought everything I need and am anxiously waiting for the 11th. Good luck to all this year!

Yeah Chris, can't wait either!!! I'm headed to Kentucky for their opener on 9/4! Got a friend with acess to 350 Ac. of farmland by a riverbottom. By the way, KY is the 7th top producing B & C state!

That's cool Brian. Hopefully you'll get a chance at a good shooter out there. Unfortunately, I'll be missing the Jamboree. I'll be in Florida. I get back on the 29th. Hopefully the house we rented is still there. Hurricanes put a whoopin on the state. Have a great time at the Jamboree. I'll see you at our next council meeting.

Thanks for the well-wishing Chris. Hope Florida is ok for you, bad timing on the vacation though!!!. My buddy's been doing some scouting, and says that he's seen a bunch of good bucks and two monsters. Said that he set me up in a nice location, end of a draw backing up to a river bottom. The only thing I'n not happy about is only having 2 (maybe 3) days to get a hunt in..........

That said, 2 days in the woods is still better than 2 days shooting foam targets!
