MD Goose or duck guides
 

Do any of you waterfowlers have some recommendations for guide(s) in MD or maybe eastern VA? I'm going to be in Silver Spring in mid-October for some mmetings and though I'd try to find a hunt if I could. I've wanted to experience duck or goose hunting for a long time. This may be a bit short notice, but any help would be much appreciated.

I admit I'm not a waterfowler, but I'll try to help you out. The season dates for MD waterfowl has not be announced yet. You can get more info at http://www.dnr.state.md.us

As far as what guides, I have heard good things about Sean Mann who guides out of MD.
I'm sure he has a website, so you may want to do a search on his name. He may also be able to fill you in better on what dates the season may be for this year.

I used a guy by the name of Kirby Bryan. I would lease property from him but he runs a guide service and is top notch. I have his # some where, will e-mail it to you when I find it. I'll look tonight.
