I heard the same NJ...If you see a buck after shotgun,,you can now blast away.

Whats next...A special fawn hunt in June?

They are also changing the regs to allow 2 bucks total, shotgun. That means if you get one in the Jan season, you're only allowed 1 the next Dec shotgun.
Apparently the herd reduction has been deemed a success in the areas that are affected by the earn a buck.
jerseyjoe, I wouldn't be surprised.

What the state needs to do is eliminate the Jan/Feb either-sex days and reduce the overall buck take to 1 buck per season. PRobably will never happen though as we are now on the slippery slope down.

I guess you mean 1 shotgun, 1 blackpowder, and 1 bow? I know there's a push to make it 2 bucks with any weapon, which is how it should be, although 1 would be fine for me. It'll take some time to get there, but I agree the biggest problem right now is the late shotgun season, and all the button bucks killed then.

2-3 BUCKS! I'm envious! can't ever imagine that in PA!
