BTB, thanks! Yep...Warren County, public land even! Nice bucks you've got there yourself!

DVD, nice buck! It's always a great feeling when you scout and hunt a particular animal and then get to take him....very gratifying accomplishment! Good job!

Here is My First Buck with a Bow. Taken in Oct, 2002. Six months after I had Heart Surgery.
I used a PSE Team Fitzgerald @55# & easton 2018's with a magnus 125gr broadhead.

Here's my best buck. Also a memorable hunt. Very intense day of rutting activity. ~110" and ~140# (tape measurement). Allegheny county.

Jimpic, nice buck. I get the infamous 'Red X', but copied and pasted the URL.

Treephantom, nice buck!

Mystic, nice buck you have there too!

Thanks Jason N. I hunted Chapman S.P./SGL a long time ago. Nice country up there. Nice places for deer the size of your deer to hide.

TReePhantom, Chapman is an awesome area, but I've only ever hunted turkeys there in the spring. I take a lot of mountain bike rides on the roads and see plenty of deer, but when I've scouted it I just don't find the sign I'm looking for. There are lots of deer there though and I'm sure there are bucks bigger than mine running those hils somewhere....I just haven't looked hard enough in the right places yet. I've had the luxury to hunt a lot of areas in this county and some are just plain better than others....all of them public access too. I've seen bigger bucks in the ANF, but not last year. I saw a REALLY GOOD buck during the rut 2002 Season....he wanted nothing to do with my calls or scent trail, but was nice enough to pass with in about 60 yards....long tines, long brows, wide, heavy....10 point that was easily 20 inches more than last years buck.

DISCLAIMER!
I'm not a die hard trophy hunter, but I try and hold out for a whopper. It's tough on public land, but if you do your homework and put the time in sooner or later it'll come together. I take my share of doe out of the herd up around here....then go after the big boys....if they don't cooperate, I'll gladly take a legal buck without griping. I look at it this way.....you gotta have goals and I've set mine!
