Default Question bout summertime?

I know it's early to be thinkin bout summer but i have to plan my summer vaction now and wanted to kno what types of things i should do when scouting for deer to prepare for next years season? I wanted to kno what I should be lookin for in a deer in the summertime? If i see a lot of activity in one stop should i use it next fall or not will the trails move?

Default RE: Question bout summertime?

The trails change some depending on mast crop and farm crops. In the
summer deer are mainly concerned about food. Bucks move during the
morning and afternoon looking for food to help grow their antlers. Does
are concerned about raising their fawns. Look for areas that have mast
crops such as acorns and beech nuts that are near a bedding area. Farm
crops are usually harvested early october but if corn is still gonna be up
when you hunt than that is where you want to hunt. Look for trails, edge
cover and food sources and you will find your spot. Beyond that just look
for deer and deer sign. I hope this helps.
