Schuylkill County Monster (Pic)
My buddy shot this deer on the PA opener in Schuylkill County PA. This deer has either 15 or 16 scorable points. It has a 10 point frame with some junk thrown in. It's just too bad the one side is busted up. The broken G3 was forked.

That's a nice deer. How was he taken? Did your buddy kill him in '04?
Here you go Barnes- ![]() |
RE: Schuylkill County Monster (Pic)
He was taken on December 1st, 2003. It was a drive and my buddy shot him with a 270. I think he was a pusher and got him as he tried to double back. The buck was jumped the first time from a patch of brush only 25 yards from one of the drivers' trucks.

I can't see it either. For some reason, though, everyone else can see it. If anybody knows how, could you make it so the picture is already opened when you look at the post? I don't know how. Thanks.

Thanks for the info on the location. A coworker of mine hunts Sch. county exclusively and he was interested as he had not heard of this brute yet.

RE: Schuylkill County Monster (Pic)
Thanks for helping me with the post. The deer was shot on their farm and went right to their barn to be butchered. I think he took it to a local taxidermist. If it were me, I'd be showing that thing to everybody and the whole state would know about it. My buddy left for Iraq on Sunday so it's great that he got this monster this year. He will miss buck season next year.
