Still lots of Pa bucks out there part 2
 

Got out after lunchtime and hunted area 2D today with the smoke poles. Private land but not posted and open to all. 2 drivers and 2 standers. We put out two legal bucks, one was a 150 class! Unfortunately he stopped 15 yards from the only hunter in the group without a buck tag! He passed my 14 year old just barely too deep in the brush to allow him a shot. The other buck was probably a 100" rack. We also saw about 25-30 does and killed one on the last drive of the day.

Oh yeah, did I mention that its land anyone can hunt?

Sounds like a good day. I agree Bob, there are still alot of bucks around. We hunt on non-posted property in 2D and have seen a couple bucks and tons of does still running around. Good luck.

The farm im hunting here in 2B is dry , i havent seen nething with horns since archery. Its down to the wire , and im lookin for a rack this last stretch

So how about some specific directions? :D

I hope to head out for the last Saturday in search of that elusive buck. I am going to try a new area at the base one of the local mountains....lots of sign and fewer hunters than where I normally go.

No problem Frank, Go out my road about a mile, turn right by the range, go a mile or three, drop your standers across from the ballfield and space em out along the old logging road ending near the gas well. Then come back around past the trailer park and go in by the cell tower. He likes to bed in the third grapevine tangle, the one surrounded by 3 acres of multiflora rose. Don't go in too fast or he'll let ya go right by.
