Settle an argument - PA regulations in WMU2B?

If you have a doe tag for WMU 2B can you use a rifle for the late season if you are hunting in Washington Co.? I know that in Allegheny Co. you have to use a shotgun, bow or muzzleloader. My argument is that you can't use the rifle now in Washington Co. My brother says you can. What is right?????

I have the same problem , only with westmoreland , i say u can use inlines for doe now , my dad says no, From what i have read , it is saying that u can use inlines and shotguns and rifles in entire 2B , then it says in special reg. areas shotgun only and then traditional, im confused.

It's on the PGC's most commonly asked questions on their automated voice mail. Yes! you can use rifles, inlines, handguns, crossbows as well as flintlocks and bows outside Allegheny Co but in 2B (can only shoot a buck with a conventional bow or a flinter though).
