RE: GOT MYSELF A NJ BEAR!!!!

congrats on the bear! You shot it with a slug [:o] I never used the slug gun for bear, but now that I know they will drop one I will take it next year.:)

that's awesome man!..im from jersey but the southern part..the bears aren't really down here I wish they were I want a bear so bad. Before I ever book a hunt in Kansas or Illinois I always wanted a nice size bear first. im zone 25 that's where I live. zone 4 is way up there I think

BOWHUNTERCOP 10-17-2013 01:16 PM

Yes DMZ 4 is way up notheren New Jersey. Hunting the midwest is great, I love Illinois, Iowa

Hey Joe, I'll Congratulate you again. This is the first year I didn't apply for a permit. Got bummed the first year when a nice walked right by me in the snow but legal shooting time was 15 min latter. Now I'm to old and hurting to get one out myself, and that's how I like to hunt, by myself. God luck to you this year .

BOWHUNTERCOP 10-20-2013 04:02 PM

thanks dude, as you see the pictures I post I always have bears but once the season opens for them I never see them
