Congrats to all on a fine harvest! Impressive bucks to say the least!
Can't say that I harvested a quality buck like the ones posted, but
I consider my season successful with the harvest of a small six pointer
and five does. Attempting to figure out the public land out here in
Carroll/Howard County. Figure a few more months of scouting the
local woods and I should be in good shape for 2004.

Had a solid year this year 6 deer. 7pt and 2 spikes the rest doe. Saw a ton of bucks this year seemed like we had a real good rut. I have been seeing a nice 8pt in muzzeloader season but he never has presented a good shot, hopefully tonight or tomorrow I can get the slip on him.

ARO, thanks for the reply. It's tough but I think about that buck almost everyday. It was classic buck fever. He was 20 yds, broadside and I just freaked out. I hit him high, right above the lungs. Just sad that he got hit by a car ya know. I might have had another shot at him.

JimboHunter1, not sure what he scored but I'd guess around 110-120, and that's just a guess. He doesn't have much mass. I'm happy as hell with him though. I called the taxidermy shop and he'll be home in two weeks, looking forward to it.
