Default Feds lift Ban on Bear Hunt

Just saw the news that a judge lifted the ban on the bear hunt in the Delaware Water Gap. Go get em. I was listening to a deer drive on my radio and they had a bear in the midst of it and no one had a permit. I was hoping they would chase it my way.

Default RE: Feds lift Ban on Bear Hunt

That is good news. I hate to hear nonsense like that from people who would impose their beliefs on others.

I was deer hunting today in Waywayanda Park in NJ. Didn't see any deer but I had three good shot opportunities at a nice bear - only problem - no darn permit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was hanging around my spot for almost 1/2 hour within 50-60 yards of me.

I am sort of new to hunting and didn't think I would ever have a shot at a bear. Just focused on small game and deer. Should have got the bear permit.

Good hunting.
